Welcome to Bake Fishing Lakes
At Bake Fishing Lakes, we are passionate about fishing and sharing our knowledge with our customers. As a family-run business, there is a lot of genuine care behind all we do here, and we are proud of what this brings to our customers.
From the beginner to the expert Carp angler, we are on hand to offer varying levels of support, including complete tackle hire, so even if you have never fished before, it could not be more simple to try your hand.
A Selection of Nine Lakes
Situated in the peaceful Cornish countryside, Bakes Lakes offers nine different lakes, each suited to different skill levels.
With 7 Coarse Angling lakes and ponds and 2 specimen Carp lakes, we provide opportunities for both the match angler, pleasure angler and families enjoying a day out together.
Our Fish Stock
Here at Bake Lakes we stock a variety of species from the humble Roach or the devastating Pike to the more elusive Specimen Carp.
Our stock boasts:
- Carp to 35lbs
- Bream to 15lbs
- Tench to 5lbs
- Pike to 18lbs
- Perch to 5lbs
- Crucian, Roach, Rudd and Eels

Bake Lakes also possesses an on-site tackle store, where you can
purchase anything from livebait to a Full Carp Fishing set up.
We currently stock a variety of brands from Dynamite, Spro, Coppens,
Cresta and more entry level products like WSB. With a recent extension
built we are soon going to be stocking Korda, Guru and Mainline.

Stop over at the 'Pigout' cafe, which offer a variety of indulgent hot food, such as burgers and full English breakfasts. You can also grab beverages and sweet treats here.

We offer night fishing for any period of time in which you are welcome to set up your own bivvy.
We do not have any caravans/lodges but there are plenty in close proximity and we recommend Tregoad Holiday Park which is only a 10 minute drive from the lakes.

We have 3 toilets on the grounds, all with disabled access.
These can be found:
- Beside the Tackle Shop
- At Caesar's Palace
- Between Luxor and Flamingo Lake
There's parking access to all lakes, with Caesar's palace having
road-access. All spots are disability-friendly.
