Rods

You must have an Environment Agency rod licence to fish this lake.
No rods to be left unattended
Maximum 3 rods per angler ( 1 rod licence needed)
Carp rods only with a rod test curve 2lb minimum

New to fishing? Don't worry, we offer tackle hire which comes as a complete set up of rod.

Hooks & Bait

Minimum hook size 10, Maximum 4
Barbless hooks or Micro barb only
No artificial baits larger than a grain of corn
No surface fishing

Line & Leads

No fixed leads, all leads must be detachable
No leadcore line
No braided mainline, braid allowed for spod/marker only
Minimum Line strength 10lb, Max 20lb

Fish Safety

Carp Care Kits must be used
You may only fish from your swim
Landing nets must be dry before use and minimum size 36”
Large unhooking mats or cradles must be used
No keepnets/Carp sacks
